Tucker's Square Green Market

W 66th Street & Columbus Avenue, Manhattan NY

Greenmarket's gateway to the Upper West Side,
the Tucker Square Greenmarket, offers locally grown produce just across the street from Lincoln Center. Seasonal vegetables range from fresh staples like corn and greens to Mexican specialties like papalo and epazote. Orchards boast sweet berries, stone fruit, and over 80 varieties of apples.
Knowledgeable growers are at market to explain just how to care for their plants, flowers, and herb pots indoors and out.  Impeccable farmstead cheeses, fresh seafood, grass fed beef, duck and duck charcuterie, eggs, artisanal baked goods, and New York’'s only producer of both sorghum and maple syrup round out the offerings.

Community activities, cooking demonstrations and recipe exchanges will add to the diverse nature of this market.

Keep Your eyes open for some soon  to come exciting new releases

Tarakon Records/Kevin Lyttle
I am pleased, honored and humbled to announce that I am now working on a variety of projects with Jacqueline James-Lyttle (CEO) and Kevin Lyttle.

Kevin was thrown into the international spotlight with his breakout smash single, “Turn Me On”. Kevin’s strong live performances of his own style of Soca influenced by dancehall and contemporary R&B made the song a hit worldwide. After finding its way into the clubs, “Turn Me On” was officially released as a single in the U.K. in late 2003; it reached #2 in its first week and spent seven weeks in the Top 10. It went on to reach Top 10 in countries throughout continental Europe including, Germany (#2), Italy (#3), France (#10), Belgium (#5), Netherlands (#2), Denmark (#1, 9 weeks), Switzerland (#3), Sweden (#5), Norway (#2), and Austria (#6); and reached #3 in Australia.

In 2003, Kevin signed to Atlantic Records and “Turn Me On” was released in the U.S. in early 2004. The record was added to MTV on May 24, 2004 where it cracked the Top 10 on TRL and eventually reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Kevin’s self-titled album, released on July 27, 2004, peaked at #8 and has been certified gold by the RIAA. The album has sold well over 2,000,000 units worldwide and the single is multi-platinum. Kevin’s ability to create and deliver hit records was further demonstrated when without any marketing “Drive Me Crazy” became known and loved worldwide and “Home for Carnival” made #1 and topped the charts for 2 consecutive years.

Following his breakout success  recording artist, song-writer, Soca enthusiast, and islander, Kevin Lyttle has been hard at work. While touring the world, Kevin created his own record label, Tarakon Records, and released follow up albums, including Fyah, in Japan in September 2008, through a licensing deal with Universal Records. In 2012, Tarakon Records also released Lyttle’s carnival compilation called “I Love Carnival” and immediately started working on the next album.
In 2013, Kevin Lyttle hit the road introducing the remixed single “Anywhere” ft. Flo Rida. The single attracted the attention of various European labels and by Summer 2013, Tarakon Records and Kevin Lyttle had signed distribution agreements with France’s Play On, Italy’s Dance and Love, Scandinavia’s Lifted House, Germany’s Perpetual Motions, and Belgium’s BIP. Play On will also remake his first hit “Turn Me On” with the French RnB Caribbean artist, Matt Houston. The single is currently charting on commercial dance charts in the UK, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Kevin’s international success has taken him on tours around the world, to countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, England, Germany, Sweden, Japan, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Suriname and many others. The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines recently announced that Mr. Lyttle has been made Cultural Ambassador, a post which comes with diplomatic privileges. Ever grateful for his success, Kevin’s stardom shines in his passion to help those in need. Using his platform as platinum international selling artist and cultural ambassador, Kevin founded a non-profit named Janice Lyttle Foundation, in honor of his late mother, to help win the battle for heart disease. Kevin brings joy where ever he goes in the world and its no surprise that his music is fondly described as  “Feel Good” music.
